Basul Island is an inhabited island which is just about 15-minute boat ride from San Juan, Surigao City. Perfect for camping, snorkeling, kayaking, or just for pure relaxation (insert book and buko juice in the scene). No electricity. I'm not much of a writer so let the pictures do the talking. :)
I don't know if this island is part of the tourist-y places in Surigao City. A family friend owns the island so you know, perks. Haha
Planning to visit Surigao City? I really suggest you visit Surigao City Tourism Office (it's in Luneta. easy to find) so the friendly staff can set-up your itinerary based on your preferred activities, schedule, and budget. They can also setup your transportation and hook you up to the best tour guides in town.
