So the two of you crossed paths again after xx years. He offered to buy you a coffee which was followed by series of dinners, movies, late night conversations and in-between work time snacks.

You both dated again.

You hooked up again.

Then things suddenly were getting serious too fast again.

He said, “I love you”,again.
“I love you, but i am not in love with you...yet...for now” 

Then the longest awkward silence. Then one of you decided to fall out again - it was you. Because you thought you’re not ready for anything too serious again.

He was heartbroken again. You were heartbroken too because he was heartbroken again.

Then everything ended worse than the 1st time you said your goodbyes.

“Can we still be friends again?”
