Surigao City: Basul Island
Basul Island is an inhabited island which is just about 15-minute boat ride from San Juan, Surigao City. Perfect for camping, snorkeling, kayaking, or just for pure relaxation (insert book and buko juice in the scene). No electricity. I'm not much of a writer so let the pictures do the talking. :)
I don't know if this island is part of the tourist-y places in Surigao City. A family friend owns the island so you know, perks. Haha

Very easy to go to. You can rent a tricycle for a day (but it's expensive) or commute using multicabs found in Surigao City Blvd near Palma Stores in the public market. Ask around, the local knows.
