Run for Ilog Pasig : 11.20.2011

Run for Ilog Pasig is an annual advocacy that serves as a fundraising and information campaign for the ongoing rehabilitation of several esteros.

The Pasig River is a 27km body of water in the Philippines. Through the years, the River fell victim to the urbanization of Manila. Pasig River was biologically dead as declared by Danish Int'l Development Agency. Main reasons were cited to be industial pollution, solid and liquid waste dumping, and urban migration.
