Entry 4 - "LRT Guy"

My daily commute here in the metro is crazy. IS. ALWAYS. CRAZY. But today is a different level of craziness. LRT Katipunan is packed with passengers than the usual. LRT doesn't have this all-female section unlike the MRT.
I ended up squeezing myself in a small space between 2 tall and big men (picture 2 club bouncers) just to get inside the train. Perks of being a short girl. Haha. Squeezing + heavy breathing + the bumpy-not-so-smooth train railways and in no time these 2 big guys were unintentionally sandwiching and squeezing me and I was almost out of breath already. I tried to tip toe just to get fresher air but to no avail, I couldn't get my head passed thru their shoulders.
Then the craziness began.
Another Kuya from the back pulled my arm and directed me to the relatively loose part of the train. When we were about to approach the next station, he tapped my shoulder and whispered, "Maraming bababa at sasakay dito. Maiipit ka. Di ka na naman nyan makakahinga." Okay, this time I was holding my bag tightly (Hahaha. Sorry praning lang. Di na pwedeng gawing batayan na mabait ang isang tao pag gwapo, maganda suot at mabango.)
And when the doors opened at the station, true to it, waves of people came rushing in and out of the train. Dyuskoluuurd. People were bumping and trying to find their place out or in the train. But tedededen, this Kuya wrapped his other arm around me and and made his arm as a shield against the bags and shoulders and elbows that were going towards us.
My gripped around my bag became tighter and I discreetly looked for the pepper spray (ako na super praning. haha. sorry) while his other arm was still wrapped around me. "Hawak ka sa braso ko Ate para di ka madala ng mga taong papalabas at para di ka matumba."
Awkward pose. My face facing his chest. His arm wrapped around me. I will leave that to your imagination. But we were in that position up to the next station. (Rhyming. Im like a poet. Hahaha)
Cubao station. Kuya grabbed my arm and we hurriedly "swam" our way out of the train. I was running late and quickly said my thank yousss and gratitudes. "Kuya, super salamat talaga. Where are you heading?" Kuya smiled and then blurted out, "Ahh hehe lumampas ako eh. Lipat nalang ako sa kabilang side para sumakay ng train pabalik."
I checked my bag. Wala namang laslas. At andito pa ang cellphone at wallet ko. Hahahaha.
